Dr. Christine Lee is a highly qualified rheumatologist who recently completed her rheumatology fellowship at Stanford University School of Medicine in Stanford, CA. She has a special interest in joint diseases and functional mobility.
Dr. Lee received her undergraduate degrees from Washington State University in St. Louis, MO, double majoring in biology and anthropology. She received her M.D. from the University of Texas School of Medicine in San Antonio, TX, followed by an internal medicine residency at Washington University’s Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Dr. Lee has an interest in improving healthcare costs through clinical assessments, reducing disease burden and telemedicine. During fellowship, she was involved with a quality improvement project focusing on the implementation of routine clinical assessments in rheumatoid arthritis patients as a way to obtain a concrete measurement of disease activity.
Dr. Lee is also trained in musculoskeletal ultrasounds through the Ultrasound School of North American Rheumatologists.
